Bloxology
The Design Process we formed was created to accurately define the structure of a project, set up a plan of action, and effectively initiate and complete the project. Our goal in incorporating this process: is to eliminate any inaccuracies or overlooked details that occur during production, to develop the best understanding of our client’s desires and visions, and to, in turn, create seamless media presentations. We find that following these Development Process Procedures help in assuring a distinct project result.
Identify Objectives - Procedure 1
First we identify our clients objectives and determine the necessary setup requirements. We then prioritize each media presentation by establishing which is most crucial to the clients marketing approach. It is important that a great deal of detail and communication are used while identifying any project objectives, as this is the easiest and most effective point is the process where new ideas can be incorporated, or bugs exterminated.
A. Assess current business structure and clientele - determine the target marketing strategies demanded for maximum consumer impact.
B. Communicate ideas and designs with prospective client, and identify with the client’s goals and visualizations.
C. Define the Project Structure by developing objectives and deadlines. The client will be provided with a Project Structure Report that includes:
Estimates
Project Schedule
Technical Information
Contract of Commerce
Once the full project is outlined, we are ready to begin the construction procedures.
Design and Generate - Procedure 2
This is where the project really takes shape. Ideas are formed, evolved, created, presented, and refined. Preferably, any major modifications should be made during this procedure, and overall color schemes and product identity should be fully established early on. Multiple prototypes will be generated and altered according to client feedback. This procedure will define the overall company image, and media presentations, and therefore, is the longest procedure in the Bloxology process.
A. The basic prototype is initiated and created. This is a critical point in the process, as it illustrates and characterizes the final form the project is to take. Much client feedback and reaction is needed to achieve the desired results.
B. After amendments are made to the initial prototype, more technical and complex elements are integrated and proofed by the client.
C. The final design is polished and refined, ready for final testing and client verification and approval.
Execute and Support - Procedure 3
The media presentation is ready for the production phase. The client has approved the media and confirmed that it is complete and ready to be used for marketing. Web media will be published via Blox, while print applications will be sent to the appropriate source. Once the media has hit the consumer market, it is important to continually monitor and publicize the product to be sure it’s maximum potential is utilized.
A. The media is now launched into the production phase, after all final tests are passed and complete. Any last changes or technical issues should be remedied prior to this junction.
- a. Remote Process Testing (web only) is now conducted and the media is tested from a consumer perspective to determine the production’s process flows smoothly.
- b. Additional stats tracking (web only) is conducted, web hits and overall effectiveness is continually monitored.
B. Blox media continues to support the product once it has reached the final stage - though the initial presentation may be complete, it is vital that support is continued in order to keep the media fresh, assess results, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
